Introducing Slaapmutske!

Realbeers is proud to introduce Ireland to a star of the new Belgian Brewing scene, Slaapmutske! To celebrate, we'r giving away a FREE SAMPLE BOTTLE WITH ANYTHING PURCHASED on our site, while stocks last! So what is Slaapmutske? Well, translated it literally means "Sleeping Hat" and it was originally designed to celebrate the birth of Dany and Marleen's new son Jonas. The beer remained nameless for some time whilst Dany considered entering into full-time brewing. However, one evening when young Jonas refused to settle down, they dipped his soother in it and by miracle, the child calmed down for the night. It was then the original Slaapmutske Winter Bier came to be and was soon followed by other variations including blonde and triple.

Although the Belgians have beer in their blood, the guys at Slaapmutske are eager to distance themselves from the historical Belgian brewing traditions, like Trappist Beers for example, but instead see themselves as a part of a new wave of breweries enthusiastic about bitter-beers acclaimed for full-bodied taste and flavour as opposed to stand alone strength. Slaapmutske is a good honest beer made of purely natural ingredients and family tradition.

While Slaapmutske is not yet available in Ireland, apart from our exclusive promotion, we do intend to open a new Pre-Order Procedure here on Realbeers for limited beers such as this. As soon as we reach enough guaranteed orders for any limted beer, we can then arrange delivery into Ireland. Read more about this in our News Section.
